A decision to endorse you will be made based on the merit of your application and the evidence you provide.
If you apply for an endorsement in the non-academic fields of arts and culture or digital technology, your application will be directed to:

Each of these industry bodies follow separate endorsement criteria.

To qualify, you must be hosted or employed by an approved institution as named under Annex 2 of UK Immigration Rules.

Benefits of the Global Talent Scheme
Under a this visa, you can live and work in the UK for up to five years without sponsorship and entry requirements associated with other UK visa types, such as language tests and minimum salary thresholds, which apply to the UK Tier 2 visa for work program.
The global talent scheme visa allows you to switch job roles and organisations without permission from the Home Office. You can work as a self-employed individual, form a spinout company and earn an extra income for consultancy work in areas not related to the field of research for which you were endorsed.
There is no limit on the number of visas issued each year and you can choose the length of your stay up to a maximum of five years, initially. You can extend your global talent visa multiple times.
The visa for global talent offers fast-track UK settlement after three years and allows your partner and dependants to come to the UK with you. The global talent stream visa gives you the freedom to conduct research outside of the UK, without being penalised for your absence.
